promise shone within you
but many couldn't see
all they saw was distrust
told me leave him there,
hes too far gone

we knew there was an inner light
and we brought you home to shine
you didn't dissapoint in any way
you gave us such love

when ady jumped you Wednesday
you tried so hard for him
we smiled and patted
and told you that you were ours

we couldn't wait till today so
we could pay the money for you
we talked about our dreams for you
we talked about how happy you were

and now you are gone
and we are in such sorrow ,
i hope that you are there
where they say horses go

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

he was the horse i posted about , i asked advice about his stable vices , we took him on a weeks trial and he was lovely , quiet to ride, good to have children running around , tied in the yard he would doze off , after 3 days of the trial we rang his owner said we were delighted and had decided to buy him and keep him for ourselves to event , we arranged to pay for him on this last saturday as we and owner could meet up at a local show
i was tydying jacks forelock with a solo comb with him tied outside my other horses stable for company as he hates to be in his stable , he half reared up suddenly swung to the right and hit the post that supports the roof just behind his head on his neck , he crashed to the ground and died instantly
we are distraught , bereft and indescribably sorry we lost him , the day after i sent my son to pay his owner , she didnt even want to take it , but i made her ,we lost a part of our family , rip jack
