I posted last night about my young horse with seedy toe and I have a dilemma. I have been cleaning the hole is his foot with hydrogen peroxide, then washing out with water and, as he is in the mud most of the time at the moment, I have purchased some hoog putty and use just enough to cap off the end to stop the mud getting up there. Lots of people say to pack the wound, others say not and, in an ideal world, I wouldn't, but I don't want mud and dirt to get up there...advice please!!
