(is that even how you spell the word plait?)

Anyhow, I have qualified to showjump at Countryside live this weekend but I can't decide whether to plait up or not? He has a neatly pulled mane which really suits him, he looks like a muppet plaited.

So what do you all think? Plait or not?

(this is providing I have a lorry and a horse that will load...)

Oooh how exciting. If he looks terrible plaited and neat un-plaited then go unplaited, partic if it is SJ. Are you there Sat or Sun?? I have tickets :D

Most showjumpers don't plait (yes that is spelled correctly) as they feel it restricts the horse's use of the neck. Many will still plait for top shows like Hickstead or Olympia, but an increasing number don't even then.
