Hi need advice lost confidence rider was swopped a horse that was very poor and very very kick along now healthy happy but still not sure if it's right horse for me don't know any history

Hi sorry I have a I'd x tb very quiet and good have walked around menage and a little trot good as gold my good friend rode her and she did a little bronc and was a bit nappy but now my confidence has taken another knock seeing this although didn't do it with me just not sure whether she will or not now do it with me but my confidence is a no go allready so seeing this has not helped bad accident few years ago bronced off smashed leg ect so confidence at rock bottom grr

Sounds as though you would benefit from lessons, I mean two sessions per week. Selling the horse is still an option if you decide that you have given it your best try. You can probably build your confidence and your fitness quite quickly if you really listen to your instructor, try gridwork as well so you are concentrating on your riding rather than worrying all the time.

Horses can do this, all horses. Especially if you buy an underweight one that has no energy because its underweight.

If your confidence is already low because of your accident could you not try have some lessons with a good riding instructor to help with these issues don't forget a horse can feel if your tense or nervous and see how you go on from there

Horses can tell who they can have a buck and a bronc and a jolly with and who they can tottle along with, generally speaking. I wouldn't worry too much. Just take things slow and go at your own pace.

Thanku to everyone I have decided to sell and just have lessons to try and regain my confidence before thinking about buying another horse thanku all again ☺
