As hard as it is, in your position I would sell. It sounds like having a horse will mean putting your life on hold.

So sorry you're in this position, he's such a dude and you're doing so well with him. You're not in a postition where you're desperate to sell ASAP so I would explore the loan / share route first and give yourself a bit of breathing space. Good luck whatever you decide.

why not give us an idea of where abouts you are as someone may know of grass livery in a herd in your area.....some of these places dont advertise

I’m in south east Kent. Although turning away isn’t a bad idea I’m not sure how beneficial it will be in terms of how much money it will actually save. My current livery is £100 a month so very reasonable and I will still have to cover the same costs such as feet, vaccinations, worming etc.
