My loan horse was sold in December and I have everything from water buckets and grooming kits to numnahs, tack and rugs. The chances of me ending up with my own horse in the next two years is pretty remote so do I sell or do I keep just in case? What would everyone else do? Would you bother washing and reproofing turnout rugs before selling? None of the rugs have been used this winter.

I'm just not sure what to do, storage is the biggest problem and would be the biggest reason for selling.

One of the rugs is a Mark Todd Heavy Weight with Neck which cost me £150 I'm never going to get my money back on it even though its in excellent condition how much could I expect to get for it?

Same for a Weatherbeeta Half neck medium or heavy (can't remember) weight which cost me £90?

Like I say I've got everything you can imagine to keep a horse from 13hh up to 16hh so what would you do? Sell or keep??????????????????????

Have a look in your local paper or contact your local pony club or riding club and see if they are having an equestrian boot sale or table top sale.

Personally I would sell some of it if I wasn't going to get another horse for about 2 years or so.

Id keep it all, you will be very glad that you did when you have a new horse and dont have to spend tonnes of money on all the little bits as you will already have them

Good rugs can make good prices on ebay and you can always put a reserve on them. Rambo's etc often make up to half their new price - as a buyer that is usually the limit I set myself.

I'd be happy if I could get half what I paid for them but its a bummer that I have to pay out for the washing and re-proofing first! Maybe I just don't want to sell anything!!! Ha ha, so indecisive!!!
