I'v got a fab 13hh pony that i broke in myself. I'v competed her in all disciplines and she's the sweetest, kindest pony i'v ever met. my 4 year old daughter rides her regularly off the lead rein and i trust her completely. BUT, she's just not enough for me. do i keep her for my daughter to grow into (she's got a sec A at the mo) or do i sell her and buy something bigger for me? i'm not happy with loaning as i don't know what i'd end up getting back, help!!!

I had a horse on loan (mind, it was a very relaxed agreement!) but it HAD to stay on the yard it was currently at, that was the only restriction. If you were reluctant to sell could you possibly do something like that?

A good child's pony is really hard to find. I know friends of mine who are having to buy youngesters so they can bring them on and they can be ready for their kids as they grown into them, so no I would not sell a good pony I think you will regret it. Is there another family you could loan her to for a few years?
