Hi, I have a 14.2 appaloosa mare just turned 13 yrs old. I'm not sure whether or not to sell her so I want other people's opinion's.
She is my first pony (bought after i finished uni) I have had her 3 yrs. I've only been able to take her to the local show for and she won that overall with me last yr through showing and jumping. I have only just been lucky enough to buy a horsebox recently. At other shows she isn't doing very well showing (not much of a looker) but she does have a big jump.
I don't know whether to sell her as she is at the age where if I do not sell her i will be stuck with her, I have someone interested in buying her. I would then buy a young section D to do showing and jumping with. But she is my first and although a stubborn mare I am attached to her and I am worried what would happen to her if I sold her. I'm not sure she could go much further competing wise though.
I've thought about loaning her out but I can not afford two if she came back to me.
What do you think?
