To supplement or not to supplement

Hi All

I have had my new mare on Magic since she arrived with me about 5 weeks ago. She was moving from being stabled 24/7 to being out 24/7 so it was more to help her relax and deal with new sights and sounds of being at grass. My tub has just about finished and I cannot decide whether to keep her on it or stop it.

Has anyone any opinions? She seems to be settling well into her routine and being out.

Phase it out and see how she does. you can buy MgO and brewers yeast off the net, cheaper.

You will bankrupt yourself feeding Magic for life, especially as your mare is new to you and you don't know if she even needs it, so I would stop, and see how she gets on. I'm sure being allowed to be a horse is a far more effective calmer in any case
