After a good year or so of research and finding nothing much on my boy aside a brief pedigree I finally found some photos and alot of information on him last month.

I thought I would post this because loads of forum members want to find pictures of their horses racing career. It may not be much help to those whose horses have not pointed, but even then it may be worth a go because these people are very knowledgable and may be able to give you links to sites etc.

The site is: www.jumpingforfun.com

I found loads of information, the people are brilliantly friendly and answer your post straight away. I thought it would come up blank because I always thought he was never very well known but atleast 2 people remembered my lad racing, and this was a while ago, and having only ran around 15 races and won one. One member sent me pictures she had taken and another put me in touch with the photographer and I got proof prints (one of which I found out had been featured in H&H magazine!). They also posted comments from the P2P bible annual which was described him to down to a T- he had a double squiggle (meaning cheeky and fairly unreliable) and the comment 'Must be shunted at all costs' ! Basically, he chose when he wanted to run and when he couldn't be bothered! One member even offered to give my phone number to owner etc.

It is def. worth a post in the forum - I just posted my lads racing post record. Good luck and I hope this helps! :D

I had the same problem and wanted to know the entire history of my lad. First place we tried was www.attheraces.com. It is searcheable on racing name and if you register (it is free) more often than not you can watch videos of the races.

Watched both of my boy's... :) he was useless :D If there was a first prize for a blisteringly fast start then turning it all in to a happy gallop my boy would have won millions.

Also check through their passports, look at the Vac record and it can be relatively easy to trace the yards they've been to by the vet addresses (bit of google maps and yell.com helps here). Never be afraid to pick up the phone and ask. We had a chat with some astonishingly nice people who filled us in on his complete history. Flippin good job too. Even been invited to spend the day up at the racing yard when we're "passing" :)

In our case we got some lovely pics of him when he had his "day job"... and of course lots of invaluable background info.
