Toad licking border terrier?

My puppy has a rather odd habit of going mad about toads and licking them uintil she has a father christmas beard of foam from the toads skin.

So is this normal and is she in fact taking hallucinogenic drugs by licking the toads????

No pretty sure the toads are trying to get away from the beast that is slobbering all over them!

Will try and get the picture off my phone of her foaming at the mouth!

Toads secreat an irritant to stop them from being eaten.

That irritant is causing your dogs mouth to foam and it wold probably be better for her if you try and stop her doing it , at least take her out of reach of the toad when she finds one.

Friend had a mini daxi that did the same.
