Toby update!

A week tomorrow when we went on the Epic Journey to fetch him, has found him settling in well.

....except Wednesday when the farrier dropped in, OH couldn't catch him...hahaha! Farrier is coming back Tuesday though as he now has a headcollar on (funny, he let me catch him, OH must smell bad... )

I'll take some more pics tomorrow, as going to try the saddle on him, to see if the saddler needs another width plate when she comes (half-term, skool show next week, no time at all this coming week to get him sorted, I will be a zombie with all the late nights!)

Once the saddle is fitted, the fun will start...

Going to lead him up the field tomorrow and give him a bit of a groom, do mane and tail etc....

He is definately a cutie.

Piccies from this morning!

I have started on his mane, now, he had a lovely long mane, but I don't like lovely long manes as they get in the way I reckon..! So didn't take a pic from the other side as you would scream at it! It'll take me a few goes to straighten it up!

He was so good, gave him a good groom, tried his bridle on and the saddle, as saddler needs to know what size plate to bring when she comes. He needs a wider one!

He seems to have settled in really well, and only a few piccies as it was too bloomin' cold to be hanging about!

He was REALLY cuddly tonight, insisted I scratched behind his ears....

Can't wait to get the saddle on and start doin' stuff...first ride will be up the BP with my sis on one of the others...

Yes indeed. he varies from very sweet - trying to get into your pocket...... to foreman, virtually pushing the wheelbarrow whilst poo picking
