Lying quietly (possibly resignedly) in his bed while I relieved some stress by putting stuff on him (one toy, one bone, one blankey, two shoes and one dog bed cushion):D

Waking himself up howling in his sleep again:D

Lying next to me on the sofa, then sitting up and turning to look at me mournfully, which is when I realised I had trapped
him by sitting on his tail:D

Yours?

Oh love him- can just imagine his face- "ahem mother - tail"

I did chuckle when Dex nicked OH's carrot, as he legged it up the garden all chuffed with himself with OH in hot persuit, swearing alot! :)

Have you spoken to anyone about your strange compulsion to pile things on your dog?:p
Evie is amusing me at the moment by being on constant fox patrol. We have a vixen and cubs just the other side of the hedge (had a cub in the garden last week) and Evie spends all day alternately sitting peering through the hedge or trotting up and down the boundary.
Although in a way its sad, Buffy amuses me by her ever more outrageous (i.e. senile) behaviour, she has now taken to trashing the kitchen bin if I don't take it out of the room when I go out.

Well, what I wanted him to do was haul his backside from his bed and give me a cuddle because I was having a little weep about what I was working on:o, but he refused so I cheered myself up by putting stuff on him to see if he would move. He didn't. He didn't until the end of the day, when my colleagues came over to say bye (to Henry, not to me!), when he gave them his best RSPCA case face:rolleyes:

Will caught a pheasant, tbf it was a disabled pheasant but he caught it in the garden he was so happy parading this thing about. He's a 15yr old lab with arthritis he had a right to be proud. Oh and my lot always amuse me when they sleep, they just lay on top of each other.

Hearing her daddy's car drive past, picking up her squeakfish and waiting with it by the back door to greet him as he comes home from work. :)

Crouching in the long grass in the hay field this morning, whistling and then waiting for the approaching thud of furry feets and being jumped on when she finds me. :)

Farting loudly and looking round in surprise. :D (Dog, not me!)

Archie - got his head stuck down a rabbit hole. The same rabbit hole that has "caught" him the last 3days

Molly - waited all day by the door for the OH, then peed on his foot in excitement when he got in and (as usual) forgot that if you stroke her ears she will pee :D:D

I can now add - cutting a swathe of destruction among my robust, unbreakable, and formerly artistically placed hearth ornaments by parading round with a giant, bright pink and yellow, stuffed caterpillar in his gob...

I LOVE this :D my parents just lost their old lab but he would have been just the same, that regal and self-confident smile a Lab can have :)

(though I also have a bizarre mental image of a pheasant with a bandaged wing and a pair of crutches :o :D )

Barking exactly twice after each line of "How much is that doggy in the window" -its more luck than anything :)

Also doing the very pathetic sad face at the window, as I went out. But holding the empty Kong in his mouth, which clearly should be full of yummy treats, to comfort him for the full 30 minutes whilst I was away!

Loving this thread!! Milo has amused me today by showing off his new trick of barking on command and brings me a toy just so he can bark for me to throw it for him. He was also playing a game of hide and seek with the cat, but got quite upset when the cat kept pouncing on him so turned around, reversed into cat and sat on him! Cat was not impressed!! Also he is very bemused by new puppy (will post pics soon!) who is smaller than the guinea pigs and follows him around, Milo is very cute and gentle with him, he lies down to play with him and puppy (no name yet) chews on his ears!!! I love spaniels, they always make you laugh!!

Puppies playing tug of war with... not the several rope ball or fluffy toys dotted around the garden - oh no - one of my clean towels off the line! and the bullie has discovered he can fit under the coffee table in ambush because the mastif cant reach him under there on account of his ridiculously long legs!

Now let me think...theres so many things that make me laugh in a day with my lot!

Flora and Ellie deciding that at 10am this morning having been up for 15 minutes, they were both going back up to my bed under the duvet. They sat and begged at the baby gate for me to let them...slovenly gits!

Milo trying to sit on a beanbag to get a better view of tv, making a right pigs ear of it, falling into the tv cabinet, knocking all the dvds down the back and running straight over to leap on my lap with a look of 'that wasnt me, they just fell, wasnt anywhere near it....I'll watch tv from here'

Flora watching the birds out the window for about an hour...interspersed with the occasional 'roo' (for definition of a roo/rooing, ask any vizsla owner, or spend half an hour with a vizz!)

Four dogs with their head inside a tumble dryer whilst my friend trying to fix it

Flora jumping up to give friend a cuddle (invited) and farting loudly!

Floras total paddy at the fact whilst walking today we missed 'sweety man'....she could see him in the distance. Again much rooing.

Tilly running round with a toy chasing Milo, see's me, looks embarrassed, drops toy and starts eating a bone instead.

Ellie in long grass...love this time of year....every walk is full of comedy! :D *boing, boing, boing*

I'm sure there have been others today but that will do!
