... assaulted me whilst being ridden.
Had been in the arena for about 20 mins, he was really unsettled, tugging at my hands, bouncing up and down, snorting and generally pratting about ... stuck the draw reins on to try and regain something resembling control, because he really needs the exercise, and I can only fight with him for so long
He then stuck his chin to his chest (with miles of slack in the draw reins) and continued to bounce. Put my inside leg on slightly at a corner, he took off like a rocket and when I tried to stop, he flung his head back, and cracked me in the sternum with the back of his head.
I am both impressed at his flexibility and p*ssed off at his complete refusal to behave like a normal horse
