To anyone who came on our fun ride today from Oak Tree Farm in Oxfordshire - thank you so much! We raised a more than goodly sum for the Frank Wise Special Needs School (http://www.frankwise.oxon.sch.uk/)

I do hope you had a good time and didn't get too hot! We had over 150 riders round and had lots of smiley faces when they came back (plus a few sore bums!) and I think the cold drinks, tea and homemade cakes went down a storm.

What is lovely is when someone comes back beaming from ear to ear and says not only did they have a great time, they got their horse over a water jump for the first time. :D

Lovely ride, but we're all totally knackered now! Great homemade cakes to revive us at the end so thanks to all your helpers/contributors. Hope the final total raised reflects all your efforts. Thank you
 
Hello! What type of horse were you riding? If you went before about 1.30 I'd have spoken to you en route - I was directing riders where the ride going out crossed the ride coming home - by the concrete bridge over the stream...

So pleased you had a lovely day and thank you for coming! :)
 
I was one of the fools on foot, whilst my daughters rode their NF ponies. I think we spoke to you - there were four riders on ponies & two walkers. I ducked out at the sight of the big hill near North Newington and walked back via Broughton - I could barely get out of bed this morning so that must mean it's done me some good! Even better, I could eat the lovely cakes on offer without any guilt. :D
 
Thanks for a fab ride! Really enjoyed it, as did my horse, even in the heat.
Very well organised and the refreshments were very welcome at the end :D
 
My friend and I also went on your ride and had a great time. Not only was the ride around really lovely countryside, everyone we met who helped or organised were really friendly and made us very welcome. A special thank you to the ladies who were handing out much needed drinks half way around and also for the yummy cakes! I hope what you raised exceeded your expectations. Thank you again.
 
Thank you all very much! I shall pass your kind comments onto Kim who organised it all and worked so hard. You all helped to raise just under £2000 for Frank Wise School, which is just brilliant!

Horserugsnot4u - yes, I remember speaking to you! I thought how brave (cough!) you were to walk all that way :D

Hi Splurcher! I'll try to find out. Laura (doing the pics) is one of the other liveries and it was her first 'event' having finished her photography course last year, I guess first times always take longer!

If not and you'd like to PM me your bib number, I'll see what I can do. :)
