I only bought them about 2 weeks ago, they are gorgeous...but..went walking the dogs in the long wet grass, took off said boots and found wet patches on my socks :-0 At the front too, nowhere near the zip. Could this be!? I must test them again to be sure but has anyone else found this? Maybe a faulty batch. I love them so much I dont want to take them back!

I've just sent a pair back to Toggi after about 8weeks wear, as the leather was coming away from the sole around the arch, on the inside. They have rung me and said they will send a new pair.... really good customer service...although that said ..I haven't received them yet!!

I should also say that they are my third pair of calgary's and this is first problem with them

Be interesting to hear what they say about the wet patches as on checking I see that they market the boots as water resistant not waterproof. Not had any problems with mine but then I tend to only ride and do a little bit of yard work in them.

Sorry to hijack your post here- I bought a pair of these boots only very recently and they are rubbing my feet and heels and making them really sore, which is a shame as they are lovely boots- did it take a while for them to wear in?

I bought some Toggi Canyon boots recently for £110 and the insoles have all come away and the front part of the sole is splitting. Worn them lightly for 8 weeks....Bought them from an agricultaral show and havent got the receipt or who from :0(

I bought a pair about a month ago and love them, but it did take a while for the right boot (my bigger foot ) to stop rubbing. I picked up some blister compede plasters and after a few weeks they are now fine without :)

Could it be sweat ??

I have a pair of harry halls that leaked within about 3 weeks of having them, after being sprayed with nikwax they have stopped, also for any little splits I have put stormsure glue on boots and it works.

I dont think theres many makes of boots that can handle mucking out, walking dogs and riding for longer than a few months :( Im yet to find one

the Calgary's arent said to be waterproof... just water resistant. Its the Canyons that are waterproof - which are the ones i have, i bought them last Xmas and never had a prob with them, theyre great.

Hmm dont think it was sweat; it was only a normal dog walk which I always do but usually in wellies..I see they are water resist only, but I wasn't standing in a puddle, only walking through long grass! I will retest asap and report back!

I've got the Toggi Canyons - bought them 8 weeks ago - and they are coming away at the inside of the arch. I've been told to send them back to Toggi direct for them to take a look at them. Hopefully they'll send me another pair although from the above, it looks like this might be a wider problem? Disappointing when I've done nothing untoward in them!

I love my Calgary boots, but never found them that waterproof to be honest. I wear mine all day every day from about April to October and have found one pair does me 1 year before the zip gives out, but given the wear i get from them I think their great. Do seem to vary alot in price from shop to shop, tend to get mine each year in Mole Valley sale for about £56.00 but have seen them for as much as £110.00!
