I have just bought one for my boy to see if it will work for doing xc, brakes!

Has anyone got any comments on them??

brilliant imo!bought one for my tb who is a train xc, and although he still is a little bit he listens much more. Also i think he likes it. Only prob i had with it was that t cuts the corners of his mouth, but then again all i put him in do. Very good bit

Thanks just a bit worried that YO will say its to harsh for him... Went xc couple of weeks ago and couldnt stop, really had to pull hard on his snaffle.

personally i dont think its that harsh-as i said my boy really likes it!if i tried to go in a snaffle i would literally not be able to stop!It should work-no harm in trying

I have a 17h tb - loves following other horses, so when he saw the one in front of him he set of galloping! not good. And he has a tendancy to run out at jumps if you dont slow him right up, which is a little dangerous!!!

well i thought about trying it on the "snaffle" bit first in the school to see what he thinks to it, and then if its ok move onto roundings

Fab bits, and not as harsh as bubble gags IMo because the length of the shanks are barely longer than the diameter of a snaffle, if that makes sense! Most horses really seem to accept it.
