Well, after years of waiting my two main aims come true tomorrow.....

1. My TB, Baz, is coming home to live with us! We moved into a new house a few weeks ago and have spent the time since fencing the field behind the garden fence. It was finished today so it is now ready to welcome Baz :D :D Still a work in progress as my OH has still to build a stable/shelter but Baz prefers to live out and we have lots of natural shelter so no panic. Will be so fantastic having him at the bottom of the garden and will mean that I get to spend much more time with him too.

2. I will be picking him up in my new trailer! I can not tell you how much this means to me, suffice to say I have waited for this day for over 20 years. After much saving and sacrificing i have finally purchased an Ifor and can get out and about independently for the first time in a very long time. I've had a great time hacking to events and competing with the horses in the Oakleys but it will be so nice to have a 'base' of my own at shows and means that I can legitimitely plan a BE season.

In one day I actually feel like I have won the lottery. Life is good at the moment and I'm enjoying every minute of it! :D :D

Sorry for the self indulgent post but please feel free to join me in a celebratory glass of fizz :D

How exciting for you, I hope you have your camera fully charged as will be expecting pics :D

Oh go on then I will have some fizz :p

Camera appears to have gone AWOL in the house move but phone camera will be in operation with hopefully lots of pics to mark the momentious occasion!

I remember getting my first float, it is such a blessing, and having your horse at home as well - have fun.

I remember when I first brought my horses home! It was so exciting, getting everything ready for them! I spent the first week mucking out in my pjs because I could!!! :)

I brought my horses home to our new house three weeks ago. I love them being just outside and looking out of the bedroom window for them as soon as I wake up. I'm sure I've bored all my FB friends senseless with photos and status updates but it's still so exciting. Our fencing was already done and we have a field shelter but have months and years ahead of building the yard and arena so I'm treasuring every moment of having my dreams come true. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am :0)

What an amazing feeling that must be for you... it's better than a lotto win... money can't buy you happiness like horses can :)
