Travelling horse tomorrow, he is fully clipped and a good traveller, going to be in trailer for about 40 mins. Do I use a thermatex rug ?? he is a large cob type

we will be hacking for about 4 hours, so my gut says yes and then I have it for when finished to chuck on him.

yes use it, it can be chilly in a trailer, i use a stable rug to travel in when fully clipped, you can always stop and check he is not getting too hot, and you will definatly need it on way home. Happy hacking

I would too - if its only for 40 mins, even if he gets a bit warm, it won't do him any harm.
