Sorry - bit of a self indulgent post, but never mind.
Had a great riding lesson tonight and even got a friend to video it - crap quality, but interesting viewing. I seem to have a habit that I can't shake - when going round corners I tilt my head the opposite direction to the corner I'm taking!! Not life threatening, I know, but it looks awful! If I knew how to upload a video on here I would show you -any explanations gratefully received(on either uploading the video or the head-tilting!!).
Anyways, the last 15 minutes of my lesson were spent doing lateral work, which I haven't done in donkeys years - leg yielding and turn on the forehand. Think I did quite well at it too and really enjoyed doing something different.
My instructor is trying to get me riding more with my legs, hence the lateral work.
Just wish I could afford more lessons.
