What a superb race he rode. The ground he made at the canal turn! wow. I was so thrilled for him and all connections.
poor Ruby walsh--I hope he is OK. It looked a horrendous fall.
 
Brilliant result and no casualties, though the three horses involved in the pile up at fence 20 (I think) were lucky.

I'll have King John's Castle if he's looking for a new home!!
 
Not McCoys biggest fan, but you'd have to have a heart of stone not to be delighted for him! A fantastic, well deserved win for all involved. As said above, a great result for Nina Carberry also.
King John Castle's expression had me giggling. Just goes to show, these horses run because they want to, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink!

You could see how much it meant to him, and his family.

Very touching when he said Eve would have something to be proud of her daddy for now!!!!

I too was amused by the expression on the face of the horse who refused to take part - stood there looking intelligently interested as the rest galloped away.
Very sorry for Ruby Walsh - only good thing about his injury is that it comes so close to the end of the season.
