Any ideas for how to make PF 'less keen' through 1 and 2-stride combinations? I have to take her in really slowly otherwise she takes a flier landing too close to the next to put in a comfortable stride (oh, and she stretches out to meet the next) Someone has said that I'm holding on too much to the front end trying to slow her down and that's why she's taking a hold. They've suggested relaxing the contact and letting her find her own way through.
Distances I'm using are 7.5 m and 10.5 m.
Any other ideas? She's fine on longer lines and individual fences.

Hmm, yes (i am crap with distances in metres, i stride mine out and thats it!?) Try something like a bounce to an upright to2strides to a oxer....but keep the distances close together! Either that or canter poles?

maybe try ... could take some time and a very nice friend but : put the jump at a comftable distance so that pf dusnt rush then gradually move them foward so they get closer :P maybe pf wont notice!

Just a suggestion as haven't tried it but how about a grid with different distances (but still 2 strides), so
upright -normal two strides - upright - short two strides -upright - normal two strides. Does that make sense? Might make her use her brain a bit more?
