Too heavy/tall?

I know this has been covered a few times before, but this isn't a rant or anything.

I am 5'9" and at the moment weigh 8/9 stone, I normally like to ride bigger horses, but thats just my personal preference, anyhow, someone has asked if i'd like to ride and possibly compete there 14.2hh mare, she is lovely, but very fine, and i'm wondering if i'd look stupid on her?

I wouldn't have thought so but it would be easier to see from photos, your defiantly not to heavy but you some people look leggy, although thats not a problem.

You won't be too heavy and how tall you look depends on how deep she is. I would sit on if I were you and see how you feel.

when i've ridden her before i've enjoyed riding her, she's very responsive and an altogether lovely ride, plus it would be nice to get to compete, and not have to do all the hard work

i think im just going to go for it, it's other people's opinions i'm more bothered about, but if the owner, horse and i are happy then it shouldnt matter whether people look down there nose at me (i say that, but it does get to me when they do )
