3 of my little ones are good doers so for that reason they don't get anything other than lo-cal and fast fibre. I'm wondering if because they're both basically fat horse food aiming to feed the nutrients they need would feeding them both at the same time be doing any harm? Esp my brood mares/foal to be.

The amount they get is so small (I do feed the recommended amount tho) a bag of lo-cal lasts me over 6 months easily. The fast fibre too. I'm sort of feeding it cause it looks like a better feed and its there so I don't want to waste it!

I don't think you'll run into trouble. How much of the fast fibre do you feed per day? It is a fortified feed, but not a balancer. I.e. the only way you'd be feeding the RDA of vits and mins with the fast fibre is if you feed it at the recommended amounts (that's 1-2kg dry weight per 500kg horse). If you feed just a small amount of fast fibre as a carrier then you'll be just fine combining it with a balancer fed at the recommended amount.

How can the balancer last 6 months??? What are you feeding mice size ponies! I would question if you are feeding the correct amounts tbh to start with.

Iv just looked up the balancer and gone through the ingrediants plus what's actually in it, its such a low spec product I was quite shocked tbh.
225 fed everyday will last just short off 3 months but there is far better out there if people do their research
