Haven't started feeding hard feed at all yet, have put hay out, but they haven't touched it, so obviously still some goodness in the grass. All 3 are like barrels, and that includes a TB! It's crazy this year!!

Is anyone else struggling to keep the weight off them at the moment? Are we just exceptionally lucky, or is it the same every where? We are almost at the stage of having to restrict grazing! Hardly any mud anywhere either, and were on clay!

Didn't think I would be complaining about over weight horses at the end of November!

its been a really brilliant year compared to the last few we have had. the big field next to us is used for cattle and its usually poached and the cattle taken indoors by October, however this year they are still out!
Im still using my summer paddock and the couple of acres ive set aside for winter hasnt been touch yet. I have muddy gateways but hey, compared to last year it’s brilliant!!

Barry is still getting his summer rations (handful of happy hoof and balancer). He is now in at night and is getting (very hay-like) haylage. He's certainly in no need of anything extra! He is in light work, but he is another TB :p

My grass is like summer grass. If I still had a part native I would be doing my nut. I am guessing my grass will last until Christmas as usual but will be better quality (usually it has got a bit long and gone over, this year it is perky bright green).
