I noticed this morning that Deans has these rubbed looking areas on all four heels. He also looks stiff behind. We did 30 mins in hand on smooth tarmac last night - there were loose stones onthe rroadin one area, that was the only time he struggled. Have I overdone it?

thats odd as the rubs seem to go higher up than would be in contact with the floor. Are his bulbs opening up?
I have ridden Storm today yipee albeit in boots and only at walk! and after a somewhat traumatic week and a vet visit, it appears he has laminitis probably low grade as he is sounder now (he has been off the grass) than he has been for weeks wonder if he has had it since before the shoes came off

Prob a good job his shoes are off, you've probably noticed faster. At least that explains what's been going wrong.
I thought it might be where his heels were pressing down as they opened out if that makes sense? In actual fact I couldn't even see them when I looked again tonight but he's gone to bed smothered in moisturizer anyway and he got the night off from walkies.
Bet that was wonderful getting back on :) I'm jealous! Hopefully not too long before I'm doing the same.

mmm, not sure what hes doing with those bulbs, think they do it to confuse us! lol
it was nice to have a plod i have to admit, hopefully not to long for you.
