Afternoon all

Am looking for supplements for an arthritc, early stages of cushings, with COPD horse

it got me thinking can you give a horse too many supplements? So how many supplements does your horse have and what for and what would you recommend for mine!

I would be popping onto the Forageplus Website and having a good read on what nutritional support they can offer your horse.

And Yes,...you can definitely go over board on the supplement side of things and, if not in the right ratio/balance given, can indeed inhibit uptake of certain minerals too!

I've learned alot from Sarah Braithwaite's site. Granted she's not the cheapest on the market, but i've had such an overwhelming sucess with feeding her supplements and bespoke mixes, i will never buy any 'off the shelf' supplements again!!

Agnus castus (chaste berry) is good for Cushings.

You could always join the turmeric user group on fb. There's loads of stuff on there, doesn't seem to be anything discovered that it can't help!

Second this ... there are testimonies praising tumeric for all of those conditions!
