I only bought my ID at the end of the season last year and managed to catch the last 2 showjumping classes at shows nearby.

We came 3rd in the first class (out of 38) and the next show won 2 firsts in the open warm up and the open, so why do i feel sick and shake before i go in, it drives me mad!!!

I worry i will forget the course (i havent yet!) and i know we can do well cause we have done so far. I have our next show this bank holiday and i am already nervous, imagine me on the day!

Any calming tips please or is anyone else as silly as me????

A little bit of nerves is never a bad thing I think, but if you really are feeling so sick before hand (and your horse will sense this too) then how about some self hypnosis techniques designed to keep you in control and calm. You could search for a registered hypnotherapist online for the area you live in. The techniques could help in all sorts of everyday life stressful situations too.

Does rescue remedy really work? I've never tried it but I get quite nervous as well so maybe it would help... oh and it doesn't make you really sleepy or anything does it?
