Too old to affiliate? (SJ)

Hi all. Just a bit of advice wanted really!
I've been jumping my horse unaff for a while now, always placed (mostly against BSJA reg horses, in large classes) and we've jumped a BN on a ticket with great success, and looking to join the BSJA.
The problem is......said horse is 19. Would I get laughed at if I were to join?. He really doesn't act,or look his age. We jump school at home over at least 1.20 (obviously not all the time), so height and width really aren't a problem, and he's very quick against the clock when I let the hand brake off, i'm just worried what other people will think!
If you guys laugh at me, I know not to bother

Go for it, as long as he is healthy why not, go and enjoy, you will have well built courses and surfaces.

I don't see that his age should be a problem if he's happy and healthy and can handle the course ok

Definately fit and healthy..... think somebody needs to tell him he's 19, not 6!

No problem at all, and who will actually know his age anyway?

if your horse is happy healthy and able (which it clearly sounds that he is) to jump aff tracks why no affiliate

I jump my 16 year old BSJA. Tbh no one really cares how old your horse is, and even if they did does it really matter? He's obviously fit and able, don't worry about it - just have fun!
