Was up at the yard this morning to take little Miss Congeniality off to a show. We left with (what we thought to be) plenty of time... expecting to be there and have 1 - 2 hours before our first class. Turned out that not so many people went, and we got there to be told that our class (ridden cob) was next! My friend and I went into panic mode and were on the horses, changed and ready, in about 5 minutes flat, thanks to help from some amazing friends!

The first class was ridden cob (mixed), and my friend came 5th, and I came 6th. Genie was really good although she didn't listen and cantered on the wrong leg, but I was stilled pleased to place with her!

We then had Ridden Mountain & Moorland Large Breeds, which was one of the largest classes of the day (but still quite small really!). Genie listened to me and did everything I asked of her, and we won it!

Was absolutely thrilled with her! My friend then came 3rd in the veteran, and we then had the championship. I didn't expect to be pulled in as champion or reserve, and I was right.

All in all we had an AMAZING day, even if we had a slightly stressful start! The weather was glorious, and the horses were very well behaved! Please ignore the apparent bags beneath my eyes in the pic of us with our 1st rosette, it was a long day!
