i caught my foot on the wheelie bin as i got on my mare today so there was me standing up in one stirrup hanging with out my leg over whilst she trotted off across the yard, as she broke into canter i had time to think do i hop of or go for swinging my leg over to get control-i did swing my leg over and gain control of the situation but it is many many many years since i have been caught out like that.
i love this mare she is so good no bucking or tantrums but the bin was gonna bite so off she went-she is just not unseating or sharp but still has plenty of character

She sounds like an angel. My boy used to look at me with a sort of what the hell is she doing ow look when I did daft things. He did that a lot but was very forgiving. You can,t blame them for being careful as they are flight animals. Lol.

she is great, i had her for nearly 4 yrs before she was backed properly just over 4 months ago, she never turns and runs, is always brave enough to approach things, although sometimes it takes a while and a fair bit of convincing to get up to or onto things that are scary
