took my pony swimming!

Wow, I can't believe the way she just walked into that... That's amazing! You wouldn't get my gelding in there for love, money nor a lifetime supply of carrots. He'd have freaked out just going into that room!

Shame really - she looks really relaxed and I bet, as you say, she felt fab afterwards.

Don't worry I won't get offended from questions, I took her as it's local and ment to be really good for there fitness, and I'm getting her ready to go eventing, and it helps get her very fit without wear and tear on her joints and I thought she would enjoy it!

Polopony, she can be a head strong mare but they close them in at the start so they have no choice then after twice being trapped she just walked down it nicely she was more bothered by the matting than the water, she keeps looking at me though! It made me giggle she went back to the yard and stuffed herself with hay so maybe horses get hungry too after a swim lol

Bless her, she obviously wasn't too worried about it then :) Yup good for fitness, I used to work at a yard and we used to swim the race horses once a week, and sometimes the hunters when we had the chance. We had one racer who insisted on launching himself in every time and drenching you!

Wow! That looks great fun! Can I ask where it is? I'm relatively near to northampton and would love to take mine! Is it anything related to Swanspool vets?

That's so cool! I find horse swimming clips fascinating!

Has she been swimming before this? She looks very calm? Did she want to go in straight away? Sorry for mass questions but I'm intruiged!!

Who is swimming her? Who is therapy lead now?

Not been that long since I was working there and don't recogise staff. Lol

There turnover is amazing.

Is affiliated to a vet with a surgery built in.

Has aqua treadmill. Spa and swimming pool that can do currents for stationary swimming.

Solarium for drying.

The setup is logical and most horses are fine given the right environment and encouragement.

The lead is trained to assess and treat horses without a referral.

They do a lot of racehorses.

Offer a livery service and some interesting therapies.

I am in the prospectus and videos too. Lol

Nm - no she had never been swimming before but she loves water generally, she was much calmer than I expected her to be, she didn't like the matting more than the water. But they close them in at the start so the only way out is too swim, but it only took about a minute for her to go for a swim, the video is the 2nd time down so she wasn't bothered by it at all! I loved watching it too!
