And he was pretty good TBH, had someone walking on foot with me though as we've only had him since last week. He was pretty reluctant to go away from yard and stopped and planted himself about five times but just kept insisting he walked forward and praised him when he moved. After four tries he then walked on happily for the rest of the hack. We're still very much getting to know each other so pleased with how he was xx

Sounds great :D What are your plans for him?

& Forgot to say the other day but if you ever want any more photos posted on here just PM me :)

Thanks, I hope you don't mind but I emailed one to you earlier!

He's recovering from a tendon injury so just doing 25mins hacking with him in walk at the moment building up slowly. We just (me and my friend) want him as a hack, possibly in the future do some sponsered rides and to love him:D

He is ex-riding school and he would of struggled with school work ie circles etc whereas he's fine plodding around the roads xx

What a good boy he is :) The biggies do seem eager to please :) and nice and calm when they choose not to please :p (well the ones we have had were anyway)

Glad you enjoyed yourselves and well done for working patiently through his worries about leaving the yard.

Well there's no point getting stressed, I honestly don't think he had a nasty bone in his body but as with alot of big horses he's a sensitive soul. It didn't help that the pony was screaming her head off for him, she may be little but god she can produce some noise!

LOL re the small pony screaming her head off, the small ones almost always seem to make the most noise don't they!

I agree there's no point getting stressed, just wish more people took the same view. You are going to have so much fun with your big lad, he's a lucky boy.
