took the old boy out for a hack today.. took him over the common.. he loved it. and for some reason he turned into a spring chicken!!! think he thought he was back out hunting again! and he kept going on the out line.. which i was like nooooooooo .. as he has kissing spines.. and was told not to work him on the outline.. but seeing as he was doing it... thought oh well! he was bounching up and down the sand tracks... if he could he would of said "please let me go for a gallop?? please" he was all sweaty.. and foming *laughs out loud*.. not seen him like that for a long time! he must be happy ... bless him.. he was tired when he got back!
lol.. when we was out on the common.. some dog walkers was asking me if he was a thoroughbred .. and i said yes.. then they go is he a ex racer.. *laughs out loud*.. (evil smile) i say why yes he is..*laughs out loud*.. lieing out of my bum... why yes he was... raceed on the flat.. then they tryed him at the jumping but was no good.. so got sold to a hunt.. was a whips horse (which is true).. hunted him for a bit then they gave him to me.. hunted him.. then had to retire him as he has a bad back! lol
i coulndn't help it ... and he is not even my horse

Sounds like fun! I took my boy out in the trailer to do some off road and he was well up for it! He bombed along in his megga fast trot and we had covered 3 miles before he started to settle! Then he realised he had tired himself so slowed down a bit...silly boy. But it does them the world of good to have a change of scene, see new things and have a bit of a leg stretch.
Everyone thinks my horse is a Dales...because he is black and hairy! But he is a Welsh.
