Tooth eruption bumps..

What are people's experiences with them?

I've got a 2yo filly who has got 2 both in line with molars, however one is larger than the other but both are opposite each other, not painful as such though she's not keen is you give them a real hard squeeze - I guess its the same as when babies are teething, its going to be sore.

Just wondering if its normal to have one larger than the other? I think they have to be tooth eruptions as they are level with each other and right below where the molars are, will be keeping a close eye for any increased signs of pain etc and I'll get the vet out to check them over.

My youngster was the same at 2, EDT said to keep an eye on it and they were fine and went as the teeth moved up. He was a bit fed up and more chewy than usual but I got him some fibre blocks in a haynet to give him something safe to chew at.

Im not sure, I would say a little higher than wolfe teeth would be.

I was just a little worried over the size difference but guess one may have moved into place a little sooner than the other.

I think they are wolf teeth. My filly, at just 18 months had huge ones, most of which were in the jaw, one was a good inch long and the vet lost plenty of sweat getting it out. The gelding, same age, had smaller ones that came out fairly easily. If they are wolf teeth, the sooner they are out the better and easier it will be to get them out.
 
If they are under her jaw then they are caused by adult molars coming through. Are they like these? My 3yrs filly has had these since she was about 21 months old, and they are different sizes and sore if you squeeze them. This pic was taken in March they have gone down a bit now. She does have a lot of teeth problems. Might be worth getting your fillys teeth checked.
