Hi- posted on here a while ago about my dog who has bad breath!
Tried her on some toothpaste and the smell has improved.
However, yesterday my brother found what looked like a tooth on the living room carpet! i tapped it agianst my tooth and it definatly looks and feeld like a tooth but i think it might just me half of it because there is no obvious place were the rots would have been attatched!
Should i panic - this has never happened before!

I would get her checked by the vet if I where u....given her age and the smelly breath/missing tooth scenario......toxins from rotten teeth in older dogs can cause kidney damage/problems.....the vet could also check the half tooth......to check for any infection/nerve exposure.
Do her teeth look particurlarly brown/stained or covered in plaque?

What breed is she? Our old JRT gave her teeth a huge amount of abuse chewing bricks, small animals etc, and had very few left by the time she was 15. Some breeds, Boxers for example, are very prone to gum problems because of their wrinkly gums. If she is eating ok and not in any pain, I'd keep an eye on her teeth and see if she loses any more. It is not uncommon in older dogs.
