Is it just me who thinks they make these up as they go along?

Here is what they reckon were the top 5 forum threads:

1. Homemade fly spray recipes

2. Hunting: if guests turned up to a meet in casual gear

3. A truly sickening Facebook page...

4. To those that have snow white hunters

5. Channel 4 racing (impressions of the new coverage)

I don't recall most of those. Where do they get these top 5s from!?

Yeah but they cant really put Princes Story can they!

Actually done quick bit of research-

Do you smack your horse
Ahhh wish id kept mare where she was

Actually most people would have known the Tessy thread!

And if you don't count it as had to be started in 2013- then Adorable Alic would also make the top 5 with "my next project" aka the story of ted and alice!

But then why can't they just say this!? Why just make it up??

Lol. Makes the forum members sound like they are only concerned with correct dress, controlling flies and keeping their horses clean :D

They make it up I reckon
I look at the top five threads list each week in h and h and most weeks think how did they work that out.

There's the image of forum members that they want to advertise in their magazine. Then there are actual forum members. These are most likely not the same thing.

Suspect I would be the Forum Member voted to be most similar to cantankerous elderly riding school pony...

<ambles in, kicks over feed bucket, snorts and ambles out again>

:D

Another vote for the saga of Ted and Alice, I love that thread.

Poor admin. Bet they think this would be a lovely forum if it wasn't for the members. We must be such a disappointment to them.:D:D:D
This! I would probably have come on HHO much earlier than I did, but I was put off by the fatuous nature of the weekly top 5 threads as listed in the magazine. If I had known what REALLY went on, I would have been following it much earlier! I must have missed out on a lot of juicy threads.

I'll happily write in to the letters to the Editor page to put the bigwigs right, but I suspect that they might not publish it....

What I don't get is how the Tessy bear thread (maybe the title) or the story of Ted and Alice reflects badly on the forums members we'd come across as incredibly supportive and generous and what about the jessandMagic thread?

I think they just pick ones nwith vaguely informative titles which means guys if you want to make the top 5 you have to make your titles concise and interesting!

Go on I dare you. !!!!!!

I remember the FB one and the one about Channel 4 racing but I think these were in the "latest news" section. Just had a quick check and none of the counts match Tessybear!

Was one of this years troll threads about the foal, who was 'dumped' with someone, had contracted tendons, and using the power of 'google', put up photos of calf legs? sticks in my mind, but not sure if it was this year or previous... time morphs into each other you see...

Oh yes that was fun.
