Can anyone recommend a top for XC which is cool. I know some have fabric which wicks away sweat etc. I have always used a short sleeved polo shirt up until now which is pretty cool but I wondered if there was one actually designed for it?

To wear under or over your BP?

I wear clothes designed for skiing. Gore-tex and that lot. Wicks the swaet away and keeps you warm/cool.

I am not sure whether there is an XC purpose designed top- Could very well be though.

That will give you a low down. Anything not to thick, like a second skin is good. Keeps you moving freely and if you have the right material you will be at a suitable temp.

Like the tops on Lec' link.
