I'm new on here and just wanted some advice, we breed our horse and he's 15 now and a thoroughbred x since we moved yards a few years ago he's started going mad in the mornings if any other horses go out in the field before him we've just started him on Top Spec Calmer does anyone know if it good or suggest anything else to try?

Top Spec Calmer for me every time.

We moved from a busy livery yard to our own place and nutty chestnut found it hard to cope, he was a rude, grumpy, sometimes dangerous old man and I was at the end of my tether with him.
I went to the local feed / tack place and sort advice and a very helpful lady there recommended it. Within a week he was a different horse. I used 3 tubs on him and after that weaned him off it. He is now the same horse we moved from that busy yard he loved so much.

Good luck.

Not tried that one. Tried NAF Magic but made no difference. Have been using Nupafeed for about a month and it's made a huge difference (infact I've posted in reply to this subject so many times now that some may think I'm their bloomin' agent!). Our boy's a TB whose been off work since March and going nuts with nothing to do. As many have also said, it does depend on the horse. Some have had good results with Magic, just not us! Nupafeed worked within about 48 hours.

Thanks for this if the top spec dosen't work I'll try Nupafeed. He's very strange he only does it if a horse goes out before him he's fine riding him and taking him away from the yard. I have just clipped him at the weekend because he was getting that upset in the mornings that he was too wet to put a rug on him. I think he's getting worse as he's getting older!
