Been doing this for ages but thought I would share it with you lucky folks!
(probably a well known idea but here I go)
wash a few jumpers and body warmers in Nikwax re-proofer, that way if its to warm for a coat or you get caught in a shower you're waterproof an not to sweaty, hurray!
