My gelding has always been bitten badly around the sheath area during Summer, although his area is washed regular and fly sprayed.
Out of despiration, last week, I smothered his bits in zinc and caster oil cream. The flys hate the grease and since then he has been left to graze in peace with no fly bites.
The cream cost less than a pound for a tub!
