My boy is still developing his topline and since i have had him it has got alot better. . .

Was just wondering if there is anything i can feed him to help it. . .I think he could just do with a bit of muscle conditioning. .

He does do alot of work and some of the muscle condition is coming and im guessing it will get better with more work and time . .was just after some ideas or posibilities of things i could add to feed to help it along. .

He gets fed 1/2 chaff 1/2 mix oil garlic and fruit and veg when i have some. . .

According to Dengie, their Alf Alfa is supposed to be useful.

http://www.dengie.com/pages/general-feed-advice/why-alfalfa.php

"Adult horses also require protein, particularly essential amino acids for developing muscle tone and for muscle function. Alfalfa is ideal for helping to build good top line and when combined with oil as in Alfa-A Oil, provides the same amount of energy as a conditioning mix. As alfalfa and oil are both slow release energy sources, Alfa-A Oil makes an ideal feed for developing youngsters where condition is needed but excuses for bucking aren't!"

I use the top line conditioning cubes and have been for the last 3 weeks, he certainly looks better for it and is nice and shiney. He has put condition on all over his body.

It wont heat him up atall and make him fizzy will it. . .it says it wont but as you use it. . .?

And could i add a quarter scoop into his normall feed. . ?

How much do you feed?

No it shouldn't make him fizzy it hasn't my 5 yr old, I feed it on its own really along with alfa a oil. I use the amount is states really over 2 feeds approx 4-5lb split ober the 2 feeds dependant on work.

I would say that to get maximum benefit you should feed it on its own but cannot see the harm in including alongside your normal feed. You should see the results in a couple of weeks.

It has worked for me.
