Topping advice for new arena

Hi there,
Dream come true but we are building an arena!!!

sorted everything up to the sand layer, but am now struggling with the final topping.

we’ve budgeted for rubber chippings on top, but a lot of companies sell rubber crumb, does anyone have any experience of this as a surface?

also any recommendations of companies selling this in the east mids would be great to hear as it’s a bit of a minefield.

You need to stick with what has been stipulated on the planning application. Most councils won't allow rubber, so do check with them first.

I’ll query what they say before submitting. Just trying to put together a bit of a plan for budget etc.
