Topping Paddocks

We have a new tractor arriving and would like to buy our own topper but there seems to be a bewildering choice of different kinds. Any ideas recommendations as to what sort is best (type not brand I mean)?

You want a topper rather than a finishing mower or a flail mower. Drum toppers are more for hay making as they leave a long stalk.
Check out ebay for ideas- we just got a lovely 7' topper for our 52hp tractor.
Make sure the topper is the right size for your tractor.

You'll need something beefy to run a flail!
