Topspec anyone??

Does anyone use topspec coolcondition cubes??

If so, how do you rate them and how long to the last your horse?

I use them on my TB, they really help maintain his weight. 1 bag lasts around a month or so, but i vary the amount depending on his condition.

We use them on one of ours, a TB cross. He is a little hot headed and in winter needs that little extra to keep weight on which the cool condition cubes do perfectly! They do exactly what they say on the bag, keep him cool but conditioned. Everyone always comments on what a lovely BEHAVED horse he is and how shiny his coat is. A bag lasts us around 3 ish weeks, but he is a big lad - 17hh - and has two generous helpings of it daily.

Can't believe how long a bag lasts... how many kg do you feed a day? Seems like tiny amounts, do you feed it at the recommended levels? If so seems like a very economical product

ETA what do you feed them with? Just looked on TopSpec's website and says a bag lasts one week!

Our lad gets 3.7kg per day, along with 8.5kg of Haylage. He also gets Mollichaff showshine so i suppose that helps save a bit of the cubes.

Perhaps i have got measurements wrong/muddled up but i can assure you it lasts longer than a week, i see no reason to lie about that

It just means you are feeding alot less than you thought!
