I have today received some samples of 3 products but they do not provide me with any details of whether I'm to soak or feed dry and how much. Would be grateful if someone could please advise as I would like to try them in the morning.

I have:

FibrePlus
Have since found out on the website that you can feed dry or a quick soak

AntiLami
Do you feed this dry and how much per 100 or 500kg pony/horse

Senior Feed Balancer
Do you feed this dry and how much per 100 or 500kg pony/horse

Thanks in advance.

I feed Top Spec Comprehensive balancer. I think the recommended quantity is 500g for a 500kg horse. I'm not sure whether it's the same for the Senior balancer and AntiLam balancer. In any case I feed it dry with some chaff and just dampen it before feeding.

Of these I only use the Antilam for daughter's 11.2hh section A, she gets half a cupful per feed. You can feed it dry or damp it down with some water. They usually give you the samples in the measuring cup. If you call them they are very good at giving advice which is appropriate for you and your horse. Good luck!

I wouldnt use any of them tbh. If your ingredients list starts with oatfeed/wheetfeed/whey protein/ white mineral oil etc just dont bother tis a waste of money.

Far better to either have your forage analysed or use Pro Earths balancer which has 5 grams of wheatfeed only so it fits in a scoop, rather than that being the main ingredient!

PS check the anti lami one for molasses, baileys low cal for lamis actually has molasses in it.....!
