Here is a reply from TopSpec regarding Leisure Time balance.......... Just thought people would be interested.

"Thank you for your e-mail and the kind comments within. Although TopSpec LeisureTime Feed Balancer is manufactured in a mill which meets all the necessary requirements and does not use any ingredients that might trigger a positive reaction to an ‘unapproved substance’ test, one of the reasons that it is sold for a lower price than the TopSpec Comprehensive Feed Balancer is that we have not incurred the cost of bonding and testing every batch as we do with the latter.

My advice would be to change the ration of any horse that is going to compete under FEI/Jockey Club/BSJA rules from including TopSpec LeisureTime Feed Balancer to including TopSpec Comprehensive Feed Balancer one month before competing. As TopSpec Comprehensive Feed Balancer is tested and bonded before being released into the market you can have every confidence in the product. In fact we have never had a positive test which shows how low the risk is but we would never take that risk nor expect our clients to do so.

Because the products contain similar ingredients, but in different quantities, it will be quite safe to change from one balancer to the other over 48 hours. When the horses are competing I am sure they will benefit from the higher nutritional specification of TopSpec Comprehensive Feed Balancer as their requirements will rise."

Looks like I will be change two of mine to the Comprehensive Balancer....
