OK so after many years on Equilibra I have decided to change to TopSpec, number 1 have not for the last few months seen any improvement in one of my horses after increasing her balancer, so talked to various people and they recommended TopSpec, number 2 found a £5 off voucher, so thought it would be worth a try. So question for those of you that are on TopSpec, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF IT!!!!... thankies

I have the normal balancer and i cannot speak highly enough of it. My horse looks totally different now and he gets next to no hard feed and adlib hay! His feet have improved and his coat is really shiny.

My friend uses the leisure time but im not sure how it is different from the normal balancer - dont think it has some of the things in it that the normal one does but worth a go when you get £5 off, see if it makes a difference!!

A lot of people on the yard now use topspec because they have seen such an improvement in my horse!!

xx

I use the feed balancer on my 16.3hh ISH, and my sister has her 14.3hh Cob on the leisure time balancer. Both are fab IMO and if you contact TopSpec they will tell you more info on the difference between these. The leisure time is not quite so nutrituos as the feed balancer which is why the cob is on that one. Plus no need for any other supplements for feet etc.

In my experience, (and it's just my experience....) TS is good for 'Good Doers' but I found it an expensive way to keep weight on Star. I couldn't cut back on the cubes, or else she dropped condition. I was led to believe that I would be able to cut back on condition cubes and up the Alfa if I was using the Balancer).... So I've swopped to a complete feed - far more economical for me. No expensive feed balancer to buy.

I have been feeding TS balancer for three weeks now and my horse has already put weight on and got a really glossy coat! Bearing in mind that I built up to the daily 500gms over a fortnight I am very impressed. I have fed Blue Chip in the past (albeit on a different horse) but didn't see such a dramatic change!

I feed the Leisure Time to my two and have found it works very well... it has also sorted my mares colic out too (touch wood!)

I will be changing them both onto the normal TopSpec when this bag has finished as they are not getting much grass (in fact Grace is not getting out at all...) and I think Hannah needs something extra now at this stage of her pregnancy.
