Does anyone feed this? Just spotted it the other day. My 18 yo mare has Baileys lo-cal and a joint supplement so wondering if this would be a good swap?
The Topspec website describes it for "elderly" horses though and I'd not describe my Molly as that! I feed a joint supplement and turmeric ss a preventative as she has very slight arthritic changes in one hind but not causing her any issues, just takes a bit of warming up. The Topspec balancer would work out cheaper than lo-cal plus supplement.

I asked Topspec for their thoughts and apparently it is suitable for any age, as it is very similar o their standard lite balancer but with the joint supplement added. So no reason it can't be fed to younger horses that need a joint supplement but not calories.
It looks like it will work out about £10 a month cheaper for me than current balancer and joint supplement so will give it a try when current supply runs out and see if I see any difference, good or bad.

I've used it for three different horses (at the same time) and wasn't impressed with the results for any of them. TBH having used the normal balancer also on my mare, I wasn't impressed with that either.
