Also in Stable Yard

Okay, I'm confused, there is so much information out there and lots of advice from down on the yard.

My 17 year old has recently become a bit stiff in her back legs poss hip.

She is exercised gently each day, 30 minutes roughly. Stabled overnight. Turned out 8am to 5pm.

Some suggestions have been it's her age, it's the weather, it's the stable, so I don't know.

What would you try first?

Topspec Senior, Cortaflex, Devils Claw or something else.

All suggestions welcomed.

TIA Holly B

Topspec senoir, my 23 yr old is on it, looks brilliant full of life!!!! Goes out hu tin about 3 times a fortnight as well normally right at front, with people not believing how old she is (neither does she!!) I actually used to feed her cortaflex like 3 yrs ago and she was always a bit clicky and sometimes stiff on that but since have swapped and barely heard a click and her leg that used to get filled sometimes hasn't, so def highly highly recomend, she is also prop one of sounder horses out huntin not on any bite even after a long day, just had some bite when had time off for a bruised foot, but not much or else she was too wild!! Hehe!!

Topspec senior is really good, its got glucosamine in it. My horse is 18 and has been on cortaflex for years, which has been really good but just recently he has been quite stiff so i tried topspec 10/10 joint supplement and ive seen a huge difference in him!!

Another vote for Top spec senior. My horse is 28 and looks better now than he did when I got him just over three years ago. He is less stiff has a much improved coat and skin and just seems to be in better health. I had him on Top spec comprehensive balancer anyway but when the Senior version came out changed to that as the extra £10 cost per bag seemed an economical way to feed a joint suppliment.
